La vie est dure, mais Dieu est bon, si bon

for a dear friend & her family because they are hurting so deeply

La vie est dure, mais Dieu est bon, si bon
(Life is hard, but God is good, so good)
Love You Forever
by Robert Munsch & Sheila McGraw
This isn't my normal posting of three books
(one for adults, one for this week's favorite and one with an activity associated with it).
Sometimes we need to press the pause button in life. This is one of those times.
I have a dear friend who has a son. He passed away from this life at 29 years old today.
I know from my own loss, that one of the most cruel things about remaining here, when a loved one is no longer with you, is everything in life continues like nothing ever happened.
Time continues to go forward and you are forced to wake up and shower and eat and on, and on, and on. You simply want to scream STOP!
I have no words.
I only have tears.
And that's okay.
This book, Love You Forever, is a beautiful look at the "normal" progression in life, from birth to old age
and a parents love for their children.
Here is a quote from the book that is repeated on every other page:
"I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living
my baby you'll be"
